Retreat Terms and Conditions

These Retreat Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) outline the expectations, payment policies, and responsibilities for all participants attending a retreat hosted by Tapas Yoga LLC (“Organizer”). By securing your spot with a deposit, you agree to the following terms.


 

1. Retreat Overview

The Organizer will conduct a retreat (“Retreat”) at the location and dates described on the retreat product page. The Retreat may include somatic movement practices, yoga, meditation, group activities, outdoor experiences, accommodations, meals, and any additional offerings listed in the retreat itinerary.

2. Participant Responsibilities

By registering, the Participant agrees to:

a. Participate in scheduled Retreat activities unless a valid reason prevents attendance.

b. Respect all rules, guidelines, and communications from the Organizer and the Retreat Location.

c. Inform the Organizer of any dietary needs, health concerns, travel issues, or special requirements before the Retreat.

d. Respect the privacy, boundaries, and space of other participants.

e. Arrive on time to any group travel points listed in the itinerary, if applicable.

f. Arrange their own travel to the Retreat Location and allow adequate time for any travel delays.

3. Payments, Deposits, and Cancellations

a. A 30 percent non refundable deposit (“Deposit”) is required to secure a spot in the Retreat.

b. The Deposit is refundable only within the first 24 hours after payment. After 24 hours, the Deposit becomes non refundable and non transferable.

c. The remaining retreat balance (“Retreat Fee”) is due 60 days before the Retreat start date. After payment, the Retreat Fee is non refundable.

d. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, emergencies, pandemics, or other situations outside of the Organizer’s control.

4. Health and Liability

a. The Participant acknowledges that movement practices, somatic work, outdoor activities, and other Retreat offerings carry inherent risks. By registering, the Participant accepts full responsibility for their own well being throughout the Retreat.

b. The Participant confirms they are in suitable physical and mental condition to engage in Retreat activities and will consult a healthcare professional if needed.

c. The Participant, on behalf of their heirs, assigns, and representatives, agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer from all liabilities related to participation in the Retreat.

d. The Organizer is not responsible for travel delays, transportation complications, or scheduling issues. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all forms of travel.

5. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep any personal or sensitive information shared during the Retreat confidential unless explicit permission is given.

6. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
